Computers let students travel around the world without ever leaving their desks. They can make learning easier and more fun, and learning how to use them will give your child many advantages in the future. At A+ Charter Schools, we know how critical it is to use technology for classroom instruction, which is why we devote significant focus and resources to supporting technology throughout our schools.
Our goal is to stay on the cutting edge of technology and help faculty and students enhance the educational experience through multimedia experiences.
Here are a few of the basic guidelines. For the safety of all our Archers, be sure you understand and commit to following them.
- We discourage students from bringing personal electronic devices to school (i.e., cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, cameras, digital recording devices, electronic games, etc.). Chromebooks and computers will be available for student use; A+ Charter Schools and its employees are not responsible for any damage, loss, or stolen electronic devices.
- Students may not use cell phones during instructional time unless the teacher or a staff member gives specific permission.
- Students must keep their electronic devices in their backpacks, purses, or pockets during classes.
- We prohibit any use of electronic devices for taking photos, audio or visual recordings, or instant messaging during school hours.
